      • Superb accommodation, perfect location

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Dunstanburgh Castle cottages – we have stayed at the Rose cottages and this time we stayed at the Police cottages with friends. It was absolutely immaculate, really quiet and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Short walk to the beach across the golf course and within 20 minutes of loads to do – Bamburgh Castle, Warkworth Castle, Alnwick and an amazing walk along the coast to Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle. Gorgeous quiet beach very nearby. We will definitely be back again and I would highly recommend these holiday cottages to anyone!

      • Second time this year – still as good

Yet again we stayed in one of the Police Houses cottages. Good space and well equipped. Very comfortable and super sized beds. We love Northumberland and its amazing beaches. Down to the beach in 5 minutes and you can walk to Low Newton and The Ship Inn or go the other way to Craster and the Jolly Fisherman. Can’t decide who has the best crab sandwiches! We will return.

      • Everything I could have hoped for

Fabulous location for walks on the beach and easy access for nearby towns. The old Police House was perfect for our weekend away. It had everything we could possibly have needed, the layout of the downstairs was ideal for socialising whilst preparing meals and the upstairs bedrooms were all lovely. Had a lovely meal in the Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel one evening which was exceptional value. Would definitely return.

      • Another great visit

We have stayed many times in the Rose Cottages where we have always experienced welcoming service. The cottages are lovely – well equipped, convenient for the splendid coastline and suitable for a visit at any time of the year. Will be visiting again soon!

      • Great Place

The Hayloft gave us the flexibility we needed with a dog – a simple, but well equipped studio barn conversion that worked really well for us – good standard, nice layout, ample space for dog cage. A good base for our first stay in Northumberland.
